The main culprits – 56% of those systems are currently running Windows 7 while the remaining 27 percent of outdated systems including systems like Windows XP and unsupported versions of Linux.
The silver lining to the story? More than 40 percent of healthcare executives reported that they are planning to improve cybersecurity before the year is over.
