A recent white paper by The Bunker suggests that senior executives are often times the weak link in their organization’s corporate cybersecurity plan, saying that many senior executives ignore the threat presented by cybercriminals and often feel that their organization’s security policies don’t apply to their unique role within their companies.
The paper suggested that employees should in general have familiarity with their organizations corporate cybersecurity plan, but that those in the C-Suite in particular should not only be familiar with those policies but lead from the front in adhering to and enforcing them.
